Maui Tropical Plantation Wedding | Melissa + Patrick

I swear to you I’ve never seen a group of better-dressed wedding guests than at this Maui Tropical Plantation wedding with Patrick and Melissa. The groomsmen wore tuxes and every lady in attendance looked like something straight out of the Great Gatsby.

The day began at Melissa’s condo in Wailea as the girls got ready with their hair and makeup. Melissa, being the DIY girl she is (um…she made her own veil, guys!) did her own makeup and helped the other girls with theirs.

After getting dressed at the condo, the group headed over to Wailuku to the Maui Tropical Plantation. Their ceremony, performed by a dear friend, was in a mango grove (how cool is that?!) and every guest got a lei!

My Favorite part of this Maui Tropical Plantation Wedding

My favorite part of the day with these two was our time to do romantic photos before the sun went down. At this Maui wedding venue the sun disappears a touch earlier because of the mountains. But that really didn’t bother me at all. We got an amazing afterglow and I loved all the greenery on this property!

The night ended with lots of cocktails, some crazy dance moves, and a really fun glow stick exit!

This was my first Maui Tropical Plantation wedding in nearly seven years. The property has changed so much since my last wedding there. With the addition of the Mill House, I love that you can get amazing food on-site and don’t have to coordinate a catering team that’s off-property.
